The Maine East High School Athletic Boosters will award scholarships to at least one senior student athlete each year. The scholarships will be awarded for the pursuit of higher education and not limited to traditional 2 yr/4 yr colleges - any type of trade school (auto, beauty, etc.) is also included in this opportunity. The purpose of the award is to recognize athletic participation, team contribution, sportsmanship and commitment. These awards will be presented at the annual
“Senior Honors Night”.
The eligible applicant is a senior athlete in a varsity or junior varsity sport, student athletic trainer, team manager, or former athlete who provides extraordinary assistance or support to the Maine East athletic program during his/her senior year.
The applicant’s family must be a paid member of the Maine East High School Athletic Booster Club for all 4 years in attendance*
*Students transferring into Maine East will need to have membership
beginning the first year they attend Maine East through senior year.
The applicant must maintain at least a 2.0 grade point average.

NOTE: The applicant will be ineligible to receive the scholarship if at the time it is
awarded they have accepted a “Full-ride” (tuition, room and board and books) from
a college, university or trade/technical school, per the NCAA.
